ADIA Lab’s Advisory Board, which is drawn from global thought leaders in data and computationally-intensive disciplines, selected the Senior Fellows based on their outstanding scientific achievements and deep expertise in areas of interest to ADIA Lab.
Dr Horst Simon, Director of ADIA Lab, said: “Each of our inaugural group of Senior Fellows are exceptional scientists and widely recognised as experts in their fields. One of our key objectives at ADIA Lab is to support the development of cutting-edge research into topics with broad and global impact. We eagerly anticipate the findings of our Senior Fellows’ research projects, as we are confident they will make important contributions to data and computational sciences.”
ADIA Lab Fellows develop research projects and publish the results to the wider community, including through academic journals and presentations at conferences and workshops. ADIA Lab Fellows also collaborate with other researchers and professionals within their field, and mentor junior researchers at ADIA Lab.
ADIA Lab plans to appoint more Fellows and Senior Fellows in the coming months, as it continues to expand its areas of research.
ADIA Lab is an independent, standalone entity supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). The Lab explores the latest trends and technologies in data and computational science across all major fields of study, with a focus on societally-important topics.
